The Law of Attraction is a fact of life. Some people are very open to it while others aren't so sure. It goes by many names including positive thinking, the Golden Rule, and even the famous Karma which means what you do to others will come back to you. You may have your own thoughts on the Law of Attraction, but many people just don't understand what it is or how to make it work for them.

More simply put, the Law of Attraction is anything to which you are attracted or drawn, anything to which you feel a kinship, be it a person, place, animal or thing. Experience teaches us that this would depend on our age and stage in life, our state of being, the silver spoons and blows that life has dealt us. In short there are so many variables that it is practically impossible to put down a Law of Attraction. How often have we sat in the doctor's office or on a bus and simply felt either attracted to or repelled by a particular person. This is no positive or negative reflection on either you or the other person. It simply means that the person's energies are vibrating on the same or different frequencies from the other person. By the same token when you are cheery, the day turns cheery and gay and you seem to attract happy people to you. However on your gloomy days the opposite happens just as easily. It is also to be remembered that the Laws of Attraction need not always be positive and 'for you'. They could just as easily work against you. This is brought to life in the form of relationships that go sour, actions that hurt us and others, in all the things that have gone wrong in our lives because of choices we have made.

Yet the more positive energy that you try to emit the more people of the same energy you will attract. You will also find good in many situations when others can't. All of us are going to be affected by things in life that we don't like. There will be the loss of relationships as well as loved ones. Some of these things are the result of our own choices while others aren't.

Do your part though to minimize the damage that will occur. The more positive energy that you show then the more good you will attract from the situation. You will find that your heart and your mind aren't always on the same path, but you do need to find a place where they connect with each other.

Here are some helpful hints to make the Laws of Attraction work for you. First, you need to listen to your feelings both physically and mentally. Pay attention to how your body responds when you are thinking about something in particular. Some of the things you experience will be positive while others will be negative. Those that leave you feeling afraid, scared, or full of negative energy are where you need to focus on making some positive changes. This way you can end up with more positive energy in your life than ever before.

Take an inventory of all of the good things that are already going on in your life. This is something too many people often fail to do. You will find this process really inspirers you to be even more positive about other things in your life. All of this is going to result in the Laws of Attraction benefiting your life as a whole. There is a huge difference between a desire you have and a need that you have. When a person desires something they often feel very positive about the experience. When it comes to needs though the negative energy tends to be a part of it. This is why you need to really have a passion surrounding the goals you set for yourself. It is going to help you to maintain a high level of positive energy.

Make sure you are taking the time to visualize how the outcome of the process is going to be for you. What is that goal that you want? See it in your mind and really notice the details of how it is going to feel when you do. This is a better way to get positive energy than thinking about how to reach your goal. That can lead to negative energy if you don't have a good plan of action in place yet. Don't waste your time thinking of all the scenarios that can occur in order to block you from reaching your goal. Instead you need to be very receptive to the image of you actually achieving it.

Life is going to bring many wonderful opportunities to your door step, and you need to take advantage of them in order to reach the goals you have set for yourself. It is going to be amazing when you realize who some things you didn't give too much thought before are going to be connected on that path to reach your goals.

Act on opportunities that crop up as you experience the law of attraction. Remember that these are stepping-stones to achieving your goals. Seemingly unrelated and inconsequential encounters can have a great significance as you pursue your dreams. Engaging the law of attraction calls for persistence and focus on your goal. In today's world of instant gratification and microwave popcorn, we need to focus on Persistence while we remember that which comes easiest or fastest is often not the best. Remember "Where there's vision, there's a way."

Last but not least, love yourself first and through that you will love and value yourself and others. This will make your goals more achievable and your success more effortless. Love is a strong vibration that heals. It is your best way to harness the law of attraction in your favor.
