Anxiety Disorder Self Help

Irritability can be an indicator that the body and mind are experiencing stress. In many cultures the pace and lifestyle has quickened tremendously as well as the expectations a person is required to fulfill under this pace. When combined with the inconsistent messages around behavior, morality, and choices we are now seeing stress on an exponential rise.
There are several factors that come together to create an experience of stress and anxiety. Research has indicated that anxiety and stress disorders and the diseases associate with these ailments and disorders have a complicated onset and are a result of several factors coming together.
Chronic and repetitive stress and anxiety, paired with limited or underdeveloped coping mechanisms and chronic suppression or imbalance of emotions can create a circumstance where stress related disease and anxiety disorders develop.
Societal structure and cultural expectation often encourages us to ignore the early signs of stress, such as muscle tension, disrupted or difficulty sleeping, irritability and emotional reactivity and digestive and breathing changes.
What causes stress and anxiety? Heredity can be a factor in predisposing a person to stress and anxiety reactions. These people often have measurable increases in the reactivity and sensitivity of their nervous system. Physiological imbalance within the brain can also be a causational factor in the development of stress and anxiety. Early childhood environments which include modeling behavior of an anxious or stressed consistent child caregiver or parent can predispose a person to experiencing stress and anxiety through conditioning. Early emotional insecurity or suppression of emotions can have a predisposing effect for stress and anxiety.
Later in life recent or short term (triggering) events that are intense, occur rapidly and outweigh a person’s coping mechanism can lead to anxiety patterns. As well as ongoing life challenges that overtime outweigh a person’s coping mechanisms can lead to anxiety and stress onset.
The basic causes of anxiety and stress can be separated into these categories: Predisposing causes, recent, short-term or triggering causes, and maintaining causes.
How does a person heal stress and anxiety and prevent the experience of anxiety in the future? Studies demonstrate that a comprehensive approach which provides a process to address the whole person in each of the causational categories we have mentioned as well as address them physically, mentally, and emotionally provides very successful results in healing stress and anxiety and greatly reducing the possibility one has to experiencing stress and anxiety in the future.
One such process that is comprehensive in its approach to healing stress and anxiety is hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy provides a safe and complete process where stress and anxiety is healed at its roots and strong coping mechanisms are developed. This leads to increased inner safety, security, self-esteem and empowerment.
You can choose to work with a Hypnotherapist one on one or complete an anxiety treatment audio program (preferably that includes a self-hypnosis training program) to achieve your goal of being free from stress and anxiety. Which ever method you choose, you can celebrate that soon you will be free of stress and anxiety and experiencing consistent feelings of safety, security and confidence, allowing you to feel back in control and feeling great.
