In addition, diesel fuel is usually less costly, although there are taxes and/or standards imposed on diesel fuels in certain areas that make it cost more. Nevertheless, diesel continues to gain popularity because of its efficiency and better fuel economy.

As a result of better fuel mileage from diesel engines, the use of diesel fuel continues to rise. The next time you buy a car, it might be a good idea to consider one with a diesel engine, especially if diesel costs less than gasoline in your area. Lower cost or not, using diesel fuel still guarantees you one thing: you get better results, because you can go farther on the same amount of fuel.
