You will hear about a lot of benefits of using calling cards. Those calling cards give you a lot of value judging by the talking time if used properly. You may want to look at Happy Hours Europa or some other providers. And still there are a number of challenges in finding the most appropriate prepaid card that I am going to address in this article.

Long-distance calling cards can come from any country, you may easily get your hands on Hungary phone cards. The first benefit that comes to mind when you think of calling cards is that they cost much less than anything else. It does not matter if you are concerned with making short-distance or international calls, using short-distance or long-distance calling cards can help you save on calling expenses considerably. If you fancy mobility, an international calling card is a way to go as it lets you use any immobile or mobile phone. With international phone cards you are not dependant on the carrier. This is evidentely one of the reasons why a lot of lorry drivers and students buy long-distance calling cards as they allow for fun away from home.

Some of my friends appreciate the fact that the connections you make using calling cards are hard if at all possible to trace back to you. Great, huh? All those calling cards would be even more amazing if there was no catch to them, but however sad it might be there is a catch. The difficulty with calling phone cards has to do with additional tariffs that the calling card provider often chooses not to disclose. That is why conducting some research before you buy any prepaid cards is an intelligent idea. When people buy phone cards they usually check the rate that is boasted of in fat letters. In many cases the rate that is printed in big font is different from the rate the company is going to take from your prepaid account. How does it happen, you may want to ask. It happens because of additional surcharges. One secret tariff typically connected with international phone cards is the connection and ‘hang-up’ fee. Some companies charge you for any connection you make which in effect is a connection fee. The “hang-up” fee is charged on disconnection, basically when you hang up the the receiver. A number of prepaid cards may charge you every week or every month for maintenance. The clock usually starts ticking after you make your first conversation. If you are going to call only your granny once a year, do not get yourself a phone card with a monthly charge. A number of providers do multiple minute approximation which is another nasty tariff phone card holders have to live with. The typical approximation is to the next minute. And yet in some cases, your talking time can be approximated to 5 or even 10 minutes. You can picture the situation when you conversed for 1 minute and they charge you for ten. As you can figure out from this publication, there are huge advantages to employing calling cards, yet some analysis is necessary before you make your investment.
