And unlike some dogs who seem to catch onto housebreaking with ease, the Bichon Frise need to take that little bit of extra time so patience is required. There may also be extra vet visits with this breed, as they are known for suffering from various skin conditions.

If some of these things bother you a great deal, then you may want to reconsider adopting a Bichon Frise so that you can find a dog that will match your tastes a little better.
