Now that you know about Clickbank and how you can make a living selling other people's products through them, now it's time to find out how you can make even more money by selling your own product. This is where it really gets interesting.

If you think you have the skills to create your own informational product, which really isn't that hard to do, then you might want to consider selling the product through Clickbank than on your own. You're probably tempted to ask the question why. Certainly if you have your product promoted through Clickbank they're not going to do this for you for free. After all, Clickbank is in the business of making money. There has to be something in it for them. The question is, what's the advantages for you?

The advantages are many. But probably one of the biggest advantages is exposure. Clickbank currently has an Alexa ranking of 319. That means only 318 sites on all the Internet in their category have more

traffic. Plus, Alexa has almost 2000 sites with links to Clickbank. The truth is, these rankings are actually deceiving. Clickbank is even more popular than the numbers show.

So what does this ranking and traffic have to do with anything? For starters, since Clickbank gets lots of traffic, that means that there are a lot of people going there who are either looking to buy products or sell them. If they are there to buy products, that translates into potential customers for you. If they are there to sell products as an

affiliate, that translates into potential affiliates for YOUR product. If you get enough of these affiliates to sell your product and it really takes off, you literally have nothing to do but just sit back, watch the money come in and provide customer service for the people who have purchased from you or your affiliates.

If this sounds like the perfect world, it's not. You do pay a price for this service. That price comes in several forms.

For starters, if you're going to get other people to sell your product for you, you better be prepared to pay them well for their hard work. Most Clickbank product owners pay anywhere from 50% to 75% to their

affiliates. That means if you're selling a product for $20, your affiliates are getting between $10 and $15 per sale. Doesn't leave you with much, does it. Plus, Clickbank takes a piece of that based on the sale price. Clickbank's cut is usually around 13%. That's no small chunk of change for their service.

Another price you pay for this service is the initial fee you need to pay in order to get your product registered with Clickbank. Currently, that's $50. And you need to make sure your site conforms to

Clickbank's terms of service, meaning it has to have all the proper legal disclaimers and mumbo-jumbo.

So what do you get for all this?

Potentially thousands of people to sell your product, plus you don't have to worry about processing payments. Clickbank takes care of that for you. All you have to do is wait for the mail to come twice a month.

And, you don't have to wait for Clickbank to get people to sell your product for you. You can get your own affiliates with just a little effort. That will be the subject of our next article in this series.
