To collect the contact information about your friends and family is very practical. By doing this you will have much better access to this type of information when you want to make a call, send out a letter or Christmas cards, or you need to invite them to your birthday party or your son's marriage.

For junior soccer coaches, Tupperware agents or arrangement organizers an address book might be one of their most powerful tools. When you have all the addresses you need collected in one place it is much easier to reach the person you need when you need to. An address book is typically located near the home phone or in the car for those who work from that location.

The most typical information to keep in an address book is the usual information like the contacts full name, address and phone number. You can also store additional information like cell phone number, email or website. Many take notes about peoples birthdays in their address book as well. You can also store information about their favorite topics to talk about and information you will benefit from remembering about that particular person.

Phone books or yellow pages are excellent tools if you want to call someone you just met, or if you want to find a new doctor. Still, the benefit of an address book is that you will be able to store all the people that are important to you for easy access. With an address book you will no longer have to look trough 1000 Johnsons before finding 30 with the same first name as the one you want to reach.

To day we also got address books on our different technological devices. Our cell phone has a contact list we can use when we need to make a call. Businesses also got CRM systems and different other databases of contacts used in their daily work. The problem with these is that you have the risk of loosing data. A cell phone typically lives between one and three years before it is completely ruined. Having a physical address book will make it much harder to loose your contact data.

Floral address books together with leather imitations has grown to be one of the most popular designs for address books these days. It is the classy styles that speaks to us and make us still use these non digital devices too keep our contacts organized.
