A persons hobby can provide much joy, relaxation, and entertainment; why not financial reward as well. If your hobby is also a home based business it could provide financial security for your family as a little extra icing on the cake.

Whatever your hobby is, you can make money with it over the internet. We live in the information age. People crave more and more information and the place to get it is on the internet. This internet thing is here to stay. In fact every day more people are surfing for longer. The recent figures released suggest that internet usage has risen by another 16 percent in the last twelve months.

There are 450 million users of the internet around the globe and over half of them regularly search for information that will enrich them in some manner. In the U.S. the internet is a multi billion dollar business with around 105 million users.

Information Highway surfers search for information on every subject imaginable. You might think that your Hobby is unique and no one else is interested in it or that you could not make money from it. WRONG! As the Scriptures say "there is nothing new under the sun". If it interests you, it will interest someone else also.

Your hobby carries with it some assets that you might not be aware of; your knowledge, experience and expertise. These are valuable commodities that people will gladly pay to have access to. Package these assets suitable for people to download over the internet and BINGO, you have an information product. You might make an ebook or a series of videos; these are easy to produce and are probably the most popular forms of information exchange today.

I'd like to write an ebook but I just don't have the skills, you might be thinking. So lets get some help with that little problem. You could go to the internet and search for Ghostwriters, but you might get a pig in a poke so to speak. Instead, go to one of those sites where experts offer their services in a bidding environment. My favorites are www.elance.com and www.guru.com (by the way, they offer assistance with writing your request job offer as well as evaluating and picking a service provider). Here is a tip that will help you get across what you want: make an audio recording of your experiences on one of those inexpensive little digital recorders which allow you to upload the recording to you computer and then provide that recording to your selected ghostwriter. OOPS, you say you don't know how to promote a product! Well you have a large part of the problem licked because you are an expert on the subject. So - you search the internet for forums and blogs about that subject and make a product review post or comment which includes your affiliate id. People will click on your affiliate link and go to the product owners website for further information. If they buy, you get a commission.

Let me just say this in closing: there are many, many people making $3,000, $5,000, $10,000 and even as high as $25,000 per month promoting other peoples products as affiliates over the internet.
