Today we travel freely it can be for business, for holidays or for family. How many times a year to sleep in a different bedroom and do not sleep well? Of course it can be just the problem of a different shaped bed or the bed could be too hard or too soft. A Feng Shui bedroom however has certain requirements and if they are missing then that room you are staying in can be a negative for you.
In Feng Shui the word 'Chi' describes the energy of the universe which is always flowing However as in a home it can be blocked or negative which can damage your health and business fortune even more so is it likely in the Motel or Hotel bedroom. As the traveller uses many bedrooms he or she is subject to a poor flow of chi or a negative flow which
Colors in any bedroom are most significant. They can create positive or negative energy flow according to their choice and mix. Colors which must be avoided in a bedroom are red and purple while pastel colors and neutral colors will do no harm.
The ideal choice of color for the bedroom is a light leaf green pastel strength and or a pastel light blue. Both of these colors will induce an energy flow which aids sleep and relaxation. The color lavender with a pink flavor is called the color of paradise and will work well for you too. So when travelling have a look at the colors of the room you will sleep in it affect your decision to stay or go.
The position of a bed in the room of a motel should always be in a position according to the Feng Shui Map called the ba Gua. Of course its unlikely you will get an ideal bed placement but be aware of what will not work according to the map.
Avoid using a room where the bed is facing a mirror and your image is viewable. The mirror will reflect and expand the negative energy in you and hinder physical recovery which sleep is meant to bring. And equally important don't ever sleep in a bed with the foot of the bed facing the door. This is known as the 'coffin position' and the term is self-explanatory.
As we enter a motel room or holiday house we almost immediately unload our luggage. If we are staying briefly for only a night or two the tendency is to leave things scattered and not put them away. This creates 'clutter' and always has a negative effect on 'chi' which in turn has a negative effect on your business and wealth processes. So for the travelling business man or woman It is best not to leave papers or documents or a satchel loosely around the room. pack these things up and put them away to prevent a disturbing energy in the room which can effect your sleep and your business efforts on the next day.
Essential oils can be carried with you on your travels and used to 'anoint' a room in which you are staying. The two most healing of oils for sleep and recovery are Rose oil and Lavender oil. Simply sprinkle some in corners of the room and some on the bedding.
I once stayed in motel room where I felt discomfort through the night. The room seemed heavy and even aggressive in a strange way. Later I discovered that in that room, some weeks earlier, a crime of violence had been committed. I knew immediately that I was picking up the negative energy of that violence just like a radio picks up music . I have always used a blessing prayer for rooms which are not mine. The 'Blessing Prayer" can be as follows - "Universe of energy and love I now ask that this room be cleansed of all previous harmful or hurtful acts that have been committed here. I ask that this room be blessed with your divine 'chi' light and energy for health and healing"
