Hitting upon the "perfect" location when it comes to real estate is a bit harder than it may at first sound. The perfect location is such an arbitrary phrase. It's just personal preference when it comes right down to it! Some like it cold, some like it wet, some like it windy, some like it quiet, some like it loud, and some like it hot. So let's talk about those that like it hot; you'll find quite a few of them in Arizona.
Arizona is found in the Southwest corner of the US. Phoenix is the capital as well as the largest city. Phoenix is followed in sheer size by Tucson, Mesa, and Glendale. Arizona was the 48th (and last of the contiguous states) to be accepted to the union on February 14, 1912. Most people know Arizona for its desert climate and landscape; boasting mild winters and the dry, dry heat that is becoming increasingly more popular year by year. The year of 2006 was a turning point for Arizona as the state took the number one spot in population growth away from the long time leader, Nevada, making Arizona the fastest growing state in the United States.
When it comes to real estate, Arizona can hold its own. The breathtaking views of the desert landscape draw more than enough residents (as is evident by the state's rank as the fastest growing state in the nation) and plenty of tourists. Everyone knows that in real estate it's all about location. Arizona is nothing if not located nicely: it's one of the four corner states bordering New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, and California and touching Colorado. It also claims an international border giving access to popular vacation spots in Mexico. Aside from its "accessibility" features that make it a prime location, Arizona in itself has a lot to offer. From the Grand Canyon to the South Mountain Preserve, the state has beautiful state parks, national forests, monuments, and, of course, Indian Reservations that make it a unique location in the midst of the American conglomerate.
The one thing Arizona real estate cannot claim is oceanfront property. George Strait made this quite clear with his hit song beginning, "I've got some ocean front property in Arizona. From my front porch you can see the sea...If you'll buy that I'll throw the golden gate in free." It's quite true that Arizona is never going to be able to offer ocean front property unless some sort of major catastrophe rearranges the map quite a bit, but there is a new addition to the Arizonan resort repertoire that almost changes history. It didn't actually bring the ocean to Arizona, but WestStone Group of Companies is on the verge of releasing a very historically significant resort community in the one of a kind Onyx Tower.
The significance of Onyx Tower lies not in the sleek, urban design of the 26 story, 1 to 3 bedroom resort condo tower, but in its location. Onyx not only offers close proximity to Phoenix's many opportunities for culture, recreation and entertainment, but it's in the enviable position of claiming waterfront property. And waterfront property in the middle of a desert is frankly, nearly magical.
Resorts are meant to promote relaxation and recreation. And Onyx Tower offers it all: waterfront views & activities, an exclusive sky lounge available to residents and guests, movie theatre, billiards room, fitness center, fireside lounge, infinity edge pool, spa and lap pool and more. The exclusive resort style residences at Onyx claim easy access to: Sky Harbor Airport, ASU, Mill Avenue and downtown Tempe, upscale shopping, and Phoenix's diverse mix. If that doesn't "promote relaxation and recreation" then nothing will!
WestStone Communities' (http://www.weststonecommunities.com) takes full advantage of the prime location of Arizona to offer another option for resort style living at its best in their Vantage community. Vantage's Tuscan inspired look and feel is evidence of WestStone Group of Companies' dedication to excellence in resort community living.
The WestStone design at Vantage rises above the rest with many gorgeous details that coalesce to create the perfect overall resort feel that provides the perfect lifestyle opportunity to residents. The location is fantastic and boasts resort lifestyle opportunities that are unmatched in the industry. For instance, Vantage residents enjoy the last opportunity to own a bit of the beautiful view offered by the Ahwatukee foothills. Residents will also enjoy access to: two pools, a spa, outdoor entertaining areas, a clubhouse with theatre, fitness room, entertainment lounge, kitchen and grand dining room. Vantage doesn't really need to offer anything more, but it does. Vantage sits right in the middle of one of Phoenix's most sought after zip codes and backs directly up against the South Mountain Preserve, a 16,000 acre municipal park offering endless recreational opportunities in addition to the view and the amenities.
Arizona apparently lacks almost nothing, except the ocean. But it's alright to admit it, sometimes the sun and the sand are all you need. Getting wet and salty is sometimes just overrated. And if you do crave that "beach fix," California is just a hop, skip and a jump away from the prime location of Arizona, the most popular state in the nation and the place to go for resort style living at its best; you can't argue with the numbers!
