After an unwanted break up it's easy to be angry with yourself, your ex and anyone that you feel contributed to the break up or interfered. To have the best possible chance of getting your ex back you need to eliminate or at least control this anger and any other negative emotions you may be feeling like jealousy

Allowing yourself to be driven by anger and jealousy will not help you.

Becoming jealous, letting anger control you, will only ruin your chances of getting your ex back

So now, before you make any attempt to get your ex back you must calm yourself.

You may find this difficult. The running dialog that most of us have in out minds is not always easy to control. Try these simple techniques to get your thoughts under control.

Don't give negative thoughts any room

This may sound simplistic, but it works. Refuse to give in to negative thoughts. As they enter your mind just gently usher them right out again. Don't give them any room in your mind. After a time they will start to disappear.

Try Prayer

Prayer will not help you to win the lottery but it will help you to control your emotions. Speak gently and softly to whatever power you recognize to exist and ask for help in keeping your emotions in check.

Control Thoughts With Meditation

Meditation is the practice of thinking no thoughts at all. Get comfortable. Sit quietly and let any thought that enters your mind flow gently out again. With practice this will help you control your emotions.

Try Exercise

Get outside or to the gym and get your heart rate up. Do any kind of exercise, walking, running, swimming, squash, that needs some concentration and works up a sweat. You'll find that with exercise it will not only be easier to control your thought, you'll sleep better, too.

To get the love of your life back into your life you need to be in good emotional condition. If you are miserable, needy, pitiful and angry no one, including your ex, will want to be around you for long. Get control of your thoughts and you are making a big step toward getting your ex back.
