Many parents are compelled to homeschool for religious reasons. Christian homeschooling has become very popular, since parents like the idea of both influencing what their children learn and imparting strong Christian values.
Public education doesn't teach absolute values as much as it used to. But when you homeschool, you can do exactly that.

When you teach in your own home, you have the freedom to speak about God and the Bible. You don't have to fear being criticized for just uttering "God" or "Christian."
This may not automatically be a good reason to start homeschooling your children. One of the benefits of letting Christian children attend school is that they can interact with people of all beliefs and set a good example. They can show people what Christians are really like.
There are also Christian private schools that use Christian teachings and doctrines in their curriculum. However, these types of schools are usually expensive. This makes the choice of Christian homeschooling a rational decision.
Other motives for homeschooling your children may be because of unsafe schools, or not wanting your children to change school after school if your family is in the military.
If your reasons for homeschooling lies in some of these categories, it's definitely worth considering.
If want to homeschool your children, Christian homeschooling is a great option, especially if you want to instill values into their education. There are many support groups that can help you decide on curriculum.
