Resale Rights and PLR are two ways used to sell tutorials and training to newbies i.e. buy the product i've created for you and get the rights to sell it to others and make bucket loads of cash.

But the hard facts are they are not doing what they told you to do, are they, as they most often made the software themselves or paid quite a lot cash to some one else to produce it for them (in other words what they are really saying is do as I say not do as I do).

They are saying "buy my unique product and try and make some money like I have by selling it to you". But why can't you make cash like they have, i'll tell you why because every man and his brother is offering what you are the product is no longer unique by the time it belongs to you.

It might suprise you but in most cases it's the exact same product every one has, which only the original owner is pocketing any actual significant money from at all.

But didn't it all look so straight forward when you were told about the latest product included with that latest coaching program you just purchased. All you had to do was sell this hot selling product and just watch the bank account expanding. If only it were that obvious.

When the gurus sold or even included software in their coaching system (often costing a few hundred dollars) they didn't have any competitors but you have a load of competition, all the people they've sold the rights to for starters.. so your stuffed even before you start.

But why? Because every one has got the exact same offering. It sounds so obvious when you really think about it.

But that's just the tip of the iceberg not only is it same product everyone (possibly thousands of people have purchased) and then quite often you've got afilliates on top selling the product as well, but as all of them are competing. The'll be:-

...competing for customer traffic from ads for the same product,

...competing for newsletter advertising about for the same product,

...competing for top phrases about for the same product,

...competing to post articles about for the same product,

...competing for search engine rank of the sales page for the same product,

...competing in ebay auctions selling for the same product,

...competing for attention and readers on Web 2.0 sites, such as or Google Pages or others, to tell people about for the same product.

...competing to post on Joomla about for the same product

...competing for Yahoo ads to advertise for the same product,

...competing for popular video sites viewers for videos about the same product,

...competing to send emails to their list about for the same product,

and on, and on again and again.

What ever option you choose to use to get people to your website your competition is still massive and the more people competing with you the faster your bank account will be sucked dry.

But infact the problem is even larger than you think if you are an affiliate using direct links selling some one elses product you are building somone elses business not yours at all.

If you promote someones Resale Rights product regardless if you have the customer from the sale you made,the major benefit still lies with the product owner who created the Resell Rights product in the first place. It's there links and there credibility you are building for them not you.

It is the marketing guru who originally offered the product who really benefits long term as well as short term do you see a pattern developing here? They are recommending you to do one thing and yet again they did a completely different thing to that you are being told to make their money.

So yes you might make a few dollars from selling the software as either an affiliate or as the owner of a Resell Rights Product if you are prepared to work pretty hard, but creating a business with long term value not a chance.
