Back in the 90's, I did not think there would ever be a day that I would have to consider whether or not I wanted to each breakfast or whether I wanted to pay for gas. Back then, the cost of gas was only about 1/3rd the cost of coffee, and putting it in your car barely put even a small dent in your budget. The government is trying to stay out of it, assuming that the only solution is to let the market right itself.
