Due to having a lower overhead, the owner can offer lower prices, which makes smaller businesses an asset.

Minimum wage pay, lease payments and stock to buy is what large corporations need to pay. At a smaller amount, the home business also has stock to buy. This stock is pretty much the only overhead needed in a small home business.

If the owner knows that their product or service is needed widely, they can use the internet to advertise across the country. A website can be made free of charge, even if advertising costs, the owner can expand their advertising once the profits start to come in.

The small business owner can see profits within the first year due to not having to share the profits, not paying the daily corporate job expenses and with getting discounts.
